APAAR (Automated Permanent Academic Account Registry), India's "One Nation-One Student ID" initiative under the Ministry of Education, has scaled from zero to 16.08 crore IDs in two years, making it one of the world's largest student digital identity Programmes. Aligned with NEP 2020, APAAR provides every learner a secure, portable and lifelong academic identity, enabling seamless integration of academic records, improved student mobility and efficient, transparent governance.

The initiative for OOSC is not just an education initiative - it is a national movement to ensure that every child gets an opportunity to learn, grow and realize their true potential.

📚 NIOS at the Launch of Bharatiya Bhasha Summer Camp

The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) actively participated in the Launch of the Bharatiya Bhasha Summer Camp at DAIC and set up an engaging stall showcasing its rich collection of multilingual study materials and books across various Indian languages.
Under the visionary leadership and guidance of Hon’ble Chairman, NIOS, Prof. Akhilesh Mishra, NIOS continues to promote multilingual education, linguistic diversity and inclusive learning in alignment with the vision of NEP 2020.
The NIOS stall highlighted educational resources in several Indian languages, reflecting the institution’s commitment towards accessible and learner-centric education for all.
