On April 22, 2026, Delhi Public School, NTPC, Dadri held a special morning assembly to celebrate Earth Day conducted by class VIII. The event aimed to sensitize students to environmental concerns and inspire them to become stewards of nature.

The assembly began with a thought for the day focused on environmental protection, followed by significance of the day.
Performances: Students from classes VI to VIII presented heartfelt poems, songs, and dance drama highlighting the importance of conserving natural resources.

A key focus was placed on actionable steps, such as reducing plastic use and saving water.

Students have been awarded with “Net Green Award” & “Change Maker Award”.

The Principal – Ms. Poonam Dua delivered a speech on the importance of sustainability and urged everyone to create a greener world. Our special guests – Shri Banish Kumar Jha (AGM FQA), Shri Murali M General Manager HVDC and Ms. Smriti Srivastava DGM HR expresses their views for Earth Day celebration and encourages our students to follow reduce, reuse and recycle techniques to save Earth’s environment from harmful radiations.

The Earth Day assembly was a resounding success, successfully instilling a sense of responsibility among students. The day concluded with a collective pledge to protect the Earth, leaving everyone with the message that "Every Day is Earth Day"

ADIEU FIESTA 2026
# A Heartfelt Farewell to Our Class XII 2025-26 #

With immense joy and a touch of nostalgia, our school bid a warm farewell to the outgoing Class XII batch 2025-26 through ADIEU FIESTA which was celebrated with great enthusiasm and elegance.
The program commenced on a soulful note with an inspiring opening poem that encouraged students to keep moving forward and aim high in their journey of life reminding them that their “Udaan” should always be limitless.

A special highlight of the event was the address by our pillar of strength, Principal Ms. Poonam Dua, who inspired everyone with a powerful message through the acronym NGU – Never Give Up. Her words encouraged students to face the ordeals of life with resilience and determination, turning challenges into
opportunities.
The occasion was graced with heartfelt blessings by Ratna Samanta Mam, Jitendra Verma Sir, Anil Gupta Sir who shared their words of wisdom and motivated the students to embrace life’s challenges with courage and confidence.

The event was meticulously organized under the guidance of Anshu Gupta Mam, Santosh kumar Sir, Biswajeet Sir along with the dedicated efforts of the farewell committee members Ms. Palak, Abhishek, Ms Devi Menon, MsPriya Jose and Shailesh whose hard work made the celebration truly grand and memorable.

The cultural segment was vibrant and captivating, filled with energetic performances, soulful music, and graceful dances. The joy and excitement on the faces of the students reflected the success of the event, making it a cherished memory for the outgoing batch.
A special PEARLS OF GRATITUDE was presented by the outgoing batch, expressing their heartfelt thanks to their school..

The celebration concluded on a delightful note with a sumptuous lunch, offering a variety of favorite dishes. Students relished the meal together, sharing laughter, memories and moments of togetherness truly enjoying every bit of the occasion.

As we bid adieu, we wish our Class XII students a future filled with success, happiness, and endless possibilities. May they continue to shine and make us proud wherever they go.
