In 2021, Prachi lost her father — the family's only earning member. All she had left were his words.

During the lockdown, she didn't give up. She applied for a scholarship. Got rejected. Applied again — and the second time, it worked. The Parivartan ECSS Programme funded her education, not once, but two years running.

That support carried her through her Zoology Honours and a Master's in Biomedical Science. Today, she's a Research Assistant working toward her PhD, with her sights set on becoming a scientist and professor.

But Prachi didn't wait until she "made it" to give back. Every weekend, for free, she teaches Class 10–12 students at an NGO. She's already a donor — and she's working toward sponsoring a student's complete education.

Her father told her to decide her own future. Now, she's helping someone else do the same.
