XIMD-Noida organised a workshop on "LEAN CANVAS" on 20th Dec 2023 for PGDM students of batch 2023-25. The workshop was a comprehensive session on Lean Canvas Concepts, Six Sigma implementation process and real time industry experiences to empower students to take up personal leadership. The workshop was successfully coordinated by Dr. Sonal Jauhari & Dr. Neelam Sheoliha.

Design thinking activities yield outcomes such as innovative solutions, user-centric products, improved user experience, effective problem definition, cross-functional collaboration, quick prototypes, reduced project risks, cultural shift towards innovation, adaptability to change, enhanced creativity, empowered teams, and increased customer satisfaction.
XIMD Noida Extension on 04 December 2023, Dr. Sonal Jauhari conducted an activity named DESIGN THINKING ACTIVITY (Redesigning The Back-Packs). In this activity students were allotted a sheet with an image of back packs printed. Students were asked to show their creativity on the sheet within the limited time period, keeping in mind the concept of WADHWANI DESIGN THINKING PROCESS, including the all five phases- Empathize phase, Define Phase, Ideate Phase, Prototype phase & Testing Phase.
All the students of PGDM participated in the activity with full enthusiasm.

Workshop on “MS ACCESS & Spreadsheet” on 29 th November, 2023

A Workshop on “MS Access & Spreadsheet” was organized for PGDM students of Xavier Institute of Management & Design, Noida on 29 th November, 2023 by Dr. Palak Gupta, Senior Faculty, XIMD who gave the welcome address highlighting the relevance and need of the workshop topic. The hands-on session was taken by Ms. Anjana Tiwari, Data Analyst, Ducat who demonstrated effective use of MS Access for database handling and report generation. She also discussed the use of Advanced Excel for quick, effective and real time analysis on huge datasets. Features of conditional formatting, pivot analysis, shortcut keys, lookup to advanced formulas were practiced on datasets. The session was highly appreciated by the students who got an excellent hands-on session.

The success of most organizations depends on the ability of individuals to build effective teams. HR Club at Xavier Institute of Management and Design, Greater Noida West is taking students out of the classroom occasionally to help in eliminating distractions and having fun. All the activities planned for students were designed keeping in view the Team bonding.
After completing team building activities together, students better understood each other's strengths, weaknesses, and interests. This understanding helps them even better together on future progress.
