P M Sukumar – Was the CEO of HarperCollins India for the last 10 years and headed Penguin Books India’s sales, marketing and distribution functions for over 6 years prior to that. He was also the MD of Dorling Kindersley India for about 3 years. He has a proven track record of team
building, motivation, retention and of delivering consistent growth above industry average over the years. N S Krishna – was most recently the Managing Director of Collins India (a division of HarperCollins Publishers India) for the last 3 years. Collins India was set up to undertake educational publishing & sales catering to the K-12 market. Apart from Indian schools, the focus was also on covering international schools promoting Collins Learning UK’s International Education lists (including ELT). He was able to build a team comprising 85 staff members in a span of 2 years with revenues exceeding Rs. 300 million in the 2nd year of operations. Prior to joining HarperCollins Publishers as Director Sales & Operations in 2009, Krishna has worked with international publishers like Random House, Pearson Education and McGraw-Hill in sales and marketing functions. Rohit Dhar – has about 23 years of versatile experience in content creation, both in print and digital. He has worked and held strategic positions in some of the established and well-known publishing companies like Frank, Vikas, Goyal, Pearson and Oxford. Besides doing some trendsetting publishing in various organizations, Rohit is the first publisher in Indian educational publishing landscape who successfully blended digital with print.
