Meet the "Holy Trinity" of lunar craters: Theophilus, Cyrillus, and Catharina. If you look closely, you can see how they overlap. Theophilus (the deepest one) is the youngest, crashing into the older Cyrillus. It’s like a cosmic game of tag played out over eons.

It is fascinating how something as simple as a cloud of dust and gases can send one into a endless spiral of self talk.

The trifid is a bright emission nebula easily seen through a pair of binoculars in semi dark skies. It was discovered by the French Astronomer Charles Messier.
