The workshop titled “Outcome-Based Education: Strengthening Teaching Learning and Rubrics-Based Assessment (NBA Criteria 2 & 3)”, conducted from 08 April to 13 April 2026 in online mode, was successfully organized with active participation from faculty members and criteria-wise departmental in-charges.
The workshop focused on strengthening the implementation of Outcome-Based Education (OBE) practices, with emphasis on capstone projects, internships, and rubrics-based assessment aligned with NBA Criteria 2 and 3.
The sessions covered key aspects such as capstone project processes and evaluation mechanisms, formulation of rubrics, internship assessment frameworks, and structured approaches for data analysis and continuous improvement.
Expert sessions delivered by Prof. Deepti Mehrotra, Dr. Ashish Gupta, Dr. Anita Sahoo, and Prof. Richa Gupta provided practical insights into effective implementation and standardization of academic processes.
The workshop concluded with discussions on finalizing rubrics and action plans, led by the NBA team.
The active involvement and valuable contributions of all participants and departmental representatives made the workshop highly productive and impactful, further strengthening the institution’s commitment to quality teaching-learning processes and outcome-based education.

(Dr.) Sharad Rastogi, Mr Mihir Jha, Prof. Alka Tripathi, Prof. Sandeep Kumar Singh, Prof. Arti Noor, Prof. Monika Suri, Prof. Rajnish Mishra, Prof. Deepti Mehrotra and Dr Neetu Singh, for focused discussions on key shifts shaping higher education.
Deliberations covered credit framework rationalisation, CBCS implementation, AI in teaching and learning, an Industry 5.0-aligned curriculum, flexible degree pathways, and skill-based learning, reinforcing a shared vision towards a more student-centric and future-ready academic ecosystem.
