Another day of exploration, learning and visual discovery.

IIP students visited multiple places in Goa, observing its rich visual culture, architecture, colours, streets, spaces, people and stories. Every location became a classroom, every frame became a lesson, and every experience added a new layer to their creative understanding.

Along with learning, there was bonding, laughter, teamwork and fun - because at IIP, education is not limited to assignments. It is about living the experience, observing deeply and growing together.

Goa Study Tour 2 | Learning Beyond Classrooms 🌊📸

Yesterday evening, our students visited Fort Aguada to understand the history and culture of Goa through architecture, memory, space and visual observation.

Today morning, the journey continued through Panjim, where students explored Goan culture, heritage homes, streets, colours, forms and architectural details - not just as tourists, but as young visual thinkers.

At IIP, a study tour is not only about travel. It is about learning how to observe, how to respect a place, how to document without disturbing, and how to understand the relationship between people, culture and surroundings.

The key focus of this exploration was discipline - maintaining silence, moving responsibly, respecting local life, and working like sensitive photographers who become part of the environment without disturbing it.

Goa Diaries | Day 1 - Museum of Goa

Our students began their Goa learning journey with a visit to the Museum of Goa, stepping into a space full of stories, colours, installations, and creative conversations.

From observing artworks to capturing details through their cameras, the day was all about exploring art beyond the classroom. Every frame, every sculpture, and every wall sparked curiosity and gave students a fresh perspective on visual storytelling.

Our students visited “Faces and Facets: Satyajit Ray in Colour” at DAG, New Delhi - an exhibition celebrating the colour photographs of Nemai Ghosh, one of the most important visual chroniclers of Satyajit Ray’s creative journey.

This visit became a powerful learning exposure where students observed how photography can preserve cinema, culture, personality, light, space and emotion. Through guided discussions and mentored exploration, they understood how a frame can become history, how a photograph can become storytelling, and how a master’s work can inspire a new generation of visual thinkers.

At IIP, such gallery visits and exposure-based learning are an integral part of our teaching pedagogy - helping students improve their visual literacy, creative confidence, credit-based learning outcomes and professional understanding of art.
