Model based testing is a testing technique where run time behaviour of a software under test is checked against predictions made by a formal specification or model. In other means, it describes how system behaves in response to an action ( determined by a model).

What is 'traceability matrix'? How would a fresher understand a concept like this? Testrivia's upcoming online courses have been written in a way that makes it easy for a fresher (even from a non computer science background to understand such concepts easily.

for example 'traceability matrix' -

" If you go to a medical store with a doctor’s prescription to buy medicine and the pharmacist gives y...ou a receipt for those medicines, you would check if all the medicines written in the prescription are also present in the pharmacy receipt. In other words your are tracing the contents of the prescription to the receipt to check if any medicine that was prescribed is missing in the receipt.
Similarly in software projects, requirements written in the specification documents have to be traced to the test cases and scenario documents to ensure that all requirements from the specifications have been covered in the test scenario and test cases. This ensures that all requirements will be tested."
