This is the Unofficial FB page of AMITY INSTITUTE OF FOOD TECHNOLOGY (AIFT) Amity Institute of Food Technology started functioning in 2007 by initiating B. Tech.
(Food Tech.) program of 4-year duration. The Institute has five well-equipped laboratories viz. Food Microbiology & Biotechnology Laboratory, Food Chemistry Laboratory, Instrumentation & Research Laboratory, Food Packaging Laboratory, and Sensory Evaluation Laboratory. In addition, the Institute has a Food Processing Hall to house the pilot plant to familiarize the students with different unit processes and operations related to the processing of various plant and animal-based foods.

A week-long Adventure Camps at Kufri (Shimla Hills) are being organized during month of May & June, 2012 by DG, AIMES in conjunction with the National Adventure Foundation for both Faculty members and Students on volunteer basis.
Further programme is as follows:-
(i) Day-1 Onward journey to Kufri.
(ii) Day-2 to Day-6 Trekking, Rock Climbing & Rappelling,
River Crossing, Horse Riding, Rifle Shooting, Camp Fire/Cultural Programme, visit Shimla etc.
(iii) Day-7 Travel back to Delhi/Noida
Cost per trip Rs. 6,500/- approx per head (inclusive of travel, boarding, lodging, and training expenditure).
