Atheneum NE-North East AtheNEum is on a journey of creating a repository of works being done by people from Northeast India

AtheNEum has been conceived on the grounds that inside and outside of academics, narratives that challenge hegemonic discourse gradually can destabilize the dominant - central narrative. Thus, making space for non-linear, multifaceted narratives and perspectives. Our soul lies in the Northeast and with a global prospective, we at AtheNEum seek to create a lively and informative platform for debate

, discourse and engagement with the knowledge and contributions being made by people from the region. AtheNEum is about bringing to the fore knowledge, information and wisdom from the Northeastern region. AtheNEum is also about demystifying and decoding the Northeast using an academic, cultural, social, political and artistic milieu.

The number of cultural festivals organised globally has increased primarily due to their significance in celebrating and promoting community values, ideologies, identity and continuity.
