Talveda - తల్వేద Talveda... is the fifth biggest village in Nadipet mandel with the population of 7150 as per the 2008 census. Surpanch of this village is -------------.

Talveda is one among those villages in Nandipet Mandal that were effected by the construction of the Pochampad Dam. Government of Andhra Pradesh wanted to relocate Talveda at the borders of Nizamabad and Adilabad districts, after the village was submerged under water of Pochampad Dam. But the people of Talveda didn't want to move that far away, and constructed the same village only one kilometer away from the old Talveda Village.Rice is the main agricultural resource in this village. It has one of the best cricket teams in the Mandala, which often falls in top 5 teams, most of the times it remains at first or second position. Youth Organisations in this village are remarkably working good.
