"Veer Gatha: Celebrating Gallantry and Patriotism at LKSPS"

The Veergatha project, an inspiring initiative by CBSE, reached its grand culmination at LKSPS in TT Hall on Friday, October 4, 2024, showcasing the spirit of valour and patriotism. Students from classes 3 to 12 participated with tremendous enthusiasm, their entries offering a vibrant and creative tribute to the bravery of our nation's heroes.

The best student submissions were selected for display, each reflecting the young minds' deep understanding of gallantry. Incharges shared moving stories of the Gallantry Award winners of 2024, leaving the students in awe of their courage and sacrifice.

In his powerful address, Vice Principal Mr. H.M. Pradhan highlighted the concept of Agniveer and the significance of gallantry awards, motivating students to consider a future in the defense forces. His words resonated deeply, emphasizing the importance of patriotism and dedication to the nation's security.

Veer Gatha not only nurtured a sense of national pride but also encouraged students to creatively express their respect for the armed forces, planting the seeds of future defenders of the nation.

Safety & First Aid
TAKE some time to learn safety and first aid. It saves lives and it works – Bobby Sherman
Teaching Safety and first Aid to children provides them with the essential skills that can be life saving. Realizing this our school conducted two days programme including a mock-drill.
Experts Prof. A.K. Singh and Mr. Naruka from SPAI guided children about safety measures and first aid. During this awareness programme, experts told students about do’s and don’ts. They demonstrated on how to handle fractures, arrest bleeding and also administer CPR. School believes this small efforts will make our students learn to safeguard their own health and help others in emergency.

Students from Grade 6 to 8 made colourful rakhis and learnt about the concept of Celebrating Rakshabandhan.The motive behind this is to emphasize on the importance of the great undefined relationship which is not only between brother and sister but it can be a bond of affection between any one of them.
