On March 27, 2026, the Department of Commerce at Amal College of Advanced Studies (Autonomous), in association with the Placement Cell, hosted a campus recruitment drive for Popees Baby Care at the Seminar Hall. Ms. Mahira Thahira, HR - Talent Acquisition, conducted the drive for second-year B.Com students, outlining the company's profile and career opportunities. The selection process involved screening and interviews, out of which 16 students qualified for the final interview. The selected candidates will be offered a two-month paid internship during the summer. Dr. Abbas Vattoli and Dr. Hafees V Kamal were the coordinators of this event, which aimed to provide industry experience to students.

The Department of Commerce, Amal College of Advanced Studies (Autonomous) released the Book of Abstract of the Sixth Semester B.Com project. The publication compiles the abstracts of projects completed by 67 final year B.Com students as part of their academic internship.
Students undertook a 21-day internship during the December vacation in various business firms, where they conducted organisational studies and gained practical exposure to the functioning of organisations.
The book was officially released by Principal Prof. (Dr.) Mohammed Basheer. .
