Amal college of advance studies is a new generation aided college affliated to the university of calicut. B.com with computer application and Bachelor of Business Administration. The college have six UG programmes and one PG programme in its portfolio. Amal College Commerce Association is the brand name of our department association for students creative efforts.

🌱 We Planted More Than a Garden—We Planted a Commitment.

This World Environment Day 2026, the students of the Department of Commerce, Amal College of Advanced Studies (Autonomous), took a meaningful step towards a greener future by launching a Student-Managed Green Garden in and around the Commerce Block.

What makes this initiative special is that it is planned, nurtured, and sustained by students themselves. More than just planting saplings, our students are taking ownership of creating a cleaner, greener, and more eco-friendly campus for generations to come.

The initiative, inspired by the UGC's LiFE (Lifestyle for Environment) movement, was inaugurated by Prof. (Dr.) Mohammed Basheer K.P. with the planting of a rose sapling. Led by passionate student volunteers and supported by faculty mentors, this green space will stand as a symbol of responsibility, teamwork, and environmental consciousness.
