80th Independence Day Celebration at Jawahar Higher Secondary School – CBSE, Neyveli ✨🇮🇳

The 80th Independence Day Celebration was celebrated with great pride, enthusiasm and patriotic spirit at Jawahar Higher Secondary School – CBSE, Neyveli.

The National Flag was hoisted with due respect by Mr. P. Arulazhagan, DGM (Transport), NSU, NLC India Limited & Assistant Secretary/Schools, in the presence of our Principal, Mrs. Joan Alexious Maria.

The celebration was made more memorable with vibrant cultural programmes presented by our talented students. 🎭🎶

On this special occasion, Mr. Arulazhagan, Assistant Secretary, Jawahar Education Society, delivered an inspiring address and extended his warm wishes to the students on the occasion of Independence Day. 🇮🇳

Anti-Drug Awareness Rally at Jawahar CBSE🚫

"Say NO to Drugs... Say YES to Life!"

On 6th August 2026, our school proudly organized an Anti-Drug Awareness Rally to spread awareness about the dangers of drug abuse and to encourage a healthy, drug-free lifestyle.

The rally was flagged off by Mr. M. Sundaram, DGM /Transport, NLC India Limited, and Mr. P. Arulazhagan, DGM (Transport), NSU, NLC India Limited & Assistant Secretary/Schools, in the presence of our Principal, Mrs. Joan Alexious Maria.

Around 200 Scout & Guide and JRC students enthusiastically participated, carrying creative placards and awareness drawings while raising powerful anti-drug slogans through the streets. Their energetic participation conveyed a strong message to the public:
Choose Health, Choose Hope,
Choose Life –
Stay Away from Drugs.

The school sincerely thank the Tamil Nadu Police and the NLC India Limited Security Department for their valuable guidance and support in making this awareness rally a grand success.
