Findings and Diagnosis?
Study: *Micturating Cystourethrography (MCU) or Voiding Cystourethrography (VCUG)*
Apart from the finding of *Grossly dilated posterior urethra and abrupt change in calibre due to PUV* (Red arrows indicate the level of PUV and abrupt transition between dilated posterior urethra and normal calibre urethra distally)
other important findings here are :
*Bladder Neck hypertrophy* which is an important finding in obstructive pathology of the bladder outlet (Yellow arrows indicate BNH with narrowed Bladder Neck proximal to dilated posterior urethra)
*Gross left sided VUR- Grade V* you can see dilated tortuous ureter and gross ballooning of the PCS (Turquoise arrows indicate reflux into dilated left PCS)
so, the complete diagnosis would be
*Posterior urethral valves (PUV) with Bladder outlet obstruction (BOO) with grade V Left VUR*
