Additionally, under the "Resource" section, you will find a Sanskrit–Tibetan–English Glossary, which contains all entries included in the glossaries of KIBI Publications’ Karmapa SERIES, among other features.

The season has begun: With KIBI’s Public Meditation Course well underway, the upcoming Kagyu Monlam just around the corner, Losar and the two KIBI courses (Foundational & Karmapa Public Course) in line, we are ready to welcome all of you back here!
Today, we were overjoyed to kick off these buzzing months ahead with the release of two new titles in the Karmapa SERIES: A short daily sadhana on White Tara (reprinted from Shangpa Rinpoche’s and Karma Kagyu Buddhist Centre Singapore’s first edition), and a collection of Dharma talks on the why and how of studying Buddhism (see picture descriptions for further details). This was a very special moment, as His Holiness the Gyalwa Karmapa Thaye Dorje blessed us with presiding over the short release ceremony.
In the name of the entire KIBI Publications & KIBI team, we wholeheartedly thank everyone who supported us in any form in the preparation of these two projects, foremost to Ven. Shangpa Rinpoche, Ms Katharina Stott, Prof. Lara Braitstein, Lopons Lodro Tharchin & Karma Zangpo, Ms Ava Belana Brandt, Lama Kunga Tsering, as well as all other generous contributors.
May the engagement with these two Dharma books swiftly engender the growth of the Three Wisdoms in all readers and practitioners, manifesting in the accomplishment of the state of the Noble Yizhin Khorlo.

KIBI Library says Thank You
Classified as an Anuttara Yoga Ta**ra (Highest Yoga Ta**ra), the Kalachakra Ta**ra plays a key role in all Tibetan Buddhist traditions. It is said that through practicing it, one can arrive at the level of Vajradhara, supreme Buddhahood, within one single lifetime of practice. Hence for all disciples fortunate enough to having gathered all the auspicious conditions, including the indispensable initiations and transmission, even intellectual study of the ta**ra may prove conducive to their understanding and practice.
Therefore, we are deeply grateful to Mr. Niclas Blomberg for his kind offering of the first two volumes of the Kalachakra Ta**ra with translation, annotations, and commentary by Niraj Kumar. May this be of immense benefit, and may all merits accumulated entirely dispel the darkness of ignorance in the minds of sentient beings.
Through the merit gained through this act of generosity, may the sponsor be endowed with auspiciousness and swiftly accomplish the unsurpassable goal!

Some Updates from KIBI Library & Publications
December has been a busy month! It began with a particular joyful occasion: Ven. Gendun Rinchen Rinpoche gave us the honour of blessing KIBI Library with his visit*. Exploring our premises with great interest, it is our sincere hope & wish that his visit will lead to a strengthening of the bond between all our libraries, east & west, in order to fulfill our aim of preserving the precious teachings.
As mentioned previously, we then set off for Bodhgaya, were KIBI Publications was present with a stall at Kagyu Monlam office.
This was followed by KIBI’s Public Meditation Course, during which the library served as a place for deepening of one’s studies and the teachings our kind teachers imparted to us. Other participants simply came to enjoy a relaxing dharma read between the sessions, thus filling their leisure time fully in line with the spirit of the course.
Moreover, it is our particular joy that, finally, Soponla’s memoirs of his life “In the service of Two Karmapas”* are now available at KIBI Library! We were extremely lucky to get ahold of the very last two copies available at KIBI shop!
With such a blessed conclusion of the year, we wish you a heartfelt Happy New Year 2024, filled with growth & harmony.
We are looking forward to welcoming you (back) here, or else assist you in your dharma studies through digital means!
A warm Tashi deleg to you all!
