Here’s a cool math trick for quick multiplication:
Multiply Any Two-Digit Number by 11
Want to quickly multiply a two-digit number by 11? Follow this trick:
Example: 32 × 11
1. Split the digits: 3 and 2.
2. Add them together: 3 + 2 = 5.
3. Place the sum in the middle: The answer is 352.
So, 32 × 11 = 352.
Another Example: 47 × 11
1. Split the digits: 4 and 7.
2. Add them together: 4 + 7 = 11.
3. If the sum is greater than 9, carry over:
The last digit is 7.
The middle number is 11, so place 1 in the middle and carry 1 over to 4.
4 + 1 = 5.
So, 47 × 11 = 517.
It works for any two-digit number!
