Subject: IMMEDIATE INTERVENTION REQUIRED - Pathetic Road & Sanitation Turning into Death Trap for School Children.
Respected Authorities,
With utmost urgency and deep anguish, we are forced to bring to your notice the LIFE-THREATENING condition of PVC Market Road, Tikri Border – the sole access road to 02 Senior Secondary Schools including Shri Ram Global School, Delhi West.This is not just a civic issue anymore. It is a DAILY HAZARD FOR MORE THAN 4000 STUDENTS.
GROUND REALITY - A TOTAL COLLAPSE:
1. ROAD IS A DEATH TRAP: The road is completely broken with 2-3 feet deep potholes and ditches. E-rickshaws and Auto-rickshaws loaded with 5-6 small children TOPPLE EVERY OTHER DAY. Children are getting injured. A major accident is waiting to happen.
2. GARBAGE & HEALTH EMERGENCY: Tons of garbage remains uncollected for weeks. The entire stretch stinks. Stray dogs, pigs, and insects have taken over.
3. OPEN DRAINS & MOSQUITO BREEDING: All drains are choked and overflowing. Stagnant black water is everywhere. The nearby wastewater collection pond has become an open garbage dump and a BREEDING GROUND FOR DENGUE, MALARIA, CHOLERA.
4. POST-RAIN NIGHTMARE: After recent rains, the road is submerged in dirty water, making it impossible to walk. We have made several verbal and written complaints to local authorities but no action has been taken .
Are we waiting for a child to lose his/her life to take action?
We urge the Hon’ble PMO, LG, CM and concerned HODs to act on a war footing.

Shri Ram Global School Delhi West, celebrated the 80th c Day of India on 14 August 2026 with great enthusiasm, pride and patriotic spirit. The entire school campus was beautifully decorated with the tricolour of our national flag.
The programme commenced with morning prayer. At 8:30 am, the flag was hoisted by the respected Vice Principal Ms. Meena Geer followed by National Song. After the flag hoisting ceremony, students presented a colourful cultural programme.
The programme included a skit which also comprised a patriotic qawwali, group dances and a poem based on the theme of Cleanliness and Responsible Citizenship in the Country. Qawwali song was presented by the junior girls depicting the unity, diversity and uniqueness of India. The skit invoked the true meaning of freedom, and encouraged responsible and aware citizenship. Students performed on songs which satirized the realities of political system. A beautiful Bharatnatyam dance was presented by Junior Girls on fusion of a self-composed poem by a student and Vande Mataram in the background. Prizes and certificates were distributed to the winners of Olympiads and Zonal Tournaments.
The programme concluded after the speech of Vice Principal. The speech inspired everyone to work hard and make India a stronger, peaceful and developed nation.
The Independence Day programme was not only entertaining but also educational and inspiring. The celebration was a grand success and will remain a memorable event for all the students and teachers.

The Pre-Primary Wing of Shri Ram Global School, Delhi West echoed with the spirited slogans "Jai Hind," "Vande Mataram," and "Inquilab Zindabad!", creating an atmosphere of patriotism and national pride.

To celebrate the spirit of Independence Day, the students of Nursery and KG class participated in a Patriotic Role Play Activity. Dressed as inspiring freedom fighters, the young learners confidently portrayed their chosen personalities using creative props and spoke a few lines about them with great enthusiasm. Their confidence and excitement made the celebration truly memorable.

The activity helped the children learn about the courage and sacrifices of our freedom fighters while fostering love and respect for the nation.
