After two days of mega celebration of literature, we present to you the climax of the festival. Witness Mr. Tarek Fatah who is an author and a tv show host tomorrow at 12:30 PM followed by a comedy session by prominent Standup Comedian, Mr. Manish K. Tyagi. The fest will mark its end for this session with a Musha'irah which is the first of its kind to ever happen in Hindu College.
Come, witness the three genres of literature on a single platform on the last day of the Literature Festival!

With the modernisation of this planet, we have forgotten the ancient and medieval forms of art and language. In the 21st century where everybody is in haste, poetry has also begun to change its form. It is high time that we replenish the long lost art of Urdu language.
In the quest to do the same, we bring to you a troop of eight shayars including Rajiv riyaz Ji, Sharaf Nanparvi Ji, Dr Nashtar Amrohvi Ji, Meena Khan Ji, Aijaz Ansari Ji, Rashid Hamidi Ji, Suhaib Farooqui Ji and Namita Rakesh Ji. They will leave you breathless with their melody and with their words.
एक हसीन माहौल बनेगा,
जब सजेगी महफ़िल-ए-मुशायरा।
एक हसीन दौर में खिलखिलाएगी उर्दू ,
जब सजेगी महफ़िल-ए-मुशायरा।

Kapil Mishra is a well-known political activist and public policy campaigner. He is the Minister for Water, Tourism, Culture, Arts & Languages and Gurudwara Elections in the Delhi Government.
He has worked with eminent international organisations like Greenpeace and Amnesty International. He was one of the first people to protest against Commonwealth Games 2010 held in New Delhi and has written a book "It's Common v/s Wealth" highlighting the various scams and social and environmental concerns related with CWG 2010.
He has also prepared a report as citizen journalist for CNN-IBN on encroachment on river Yamuna and also has exposed the issues of violation of labor laws at Games sites by camping outside Games village along with other members of "Youth for Justice".
It is indeed an honour for us to have him amongst us to inaugrate the 4th edition of Musha'irah- The Annual Literature Festival of Hindu College.

हिन्दू कॉलेज की हिंदी नाट्य संस्था "अभिरंग" ने विगत 13 वर्षों से सामाजिक सरोकारों के नए रंग प्रस्तुत किये हैं । रंगमच के जरिये सामाजिक यथार्थ और सौंदर्य की अभिव्यक्ति को अभिरंग ने प्राथमिकता दी है । अभिरंग की उल्लेखनीय मंचीय प्रस्तुतियों में 'कबीरा खड़ा बाजार में ' , पीली छत पर काला निशान , कफ़न , सद्गति , चीफ की दावत , वेश्या आदि प्रमुख है । अभिरंग अभी तक करीब 30 से ज्यादा मंचीय प्रस्तुतियां दे चुका है ।

An engineer by education & profession, Manish K Tyagi used to be a Commander with the Indian Navy till 2012. Forced into singledom, he decided to share his life experiences on stage and has been performing since last 2 years. He has been a regular host at many shows at multiple venues and his performances have also been aired on 94.3 FM (LOL competition) and 91.1 FM (Radio ka ghanta). He has a unique style and believes in inclusive comedy. He is also a corporate trainer by profession. Here to tingle your funnybone, we present to you Manish K Tyagi at Musha'irah 2017.
