Herbert Smith Freehills - NLU Delhi International Negotiation Competition

The winner of the 6th HSF-NLU Delhi International Negotiation Competition 2019 was the University of Oxford represented by Chaitanya Kediyal and Ee Hsiun!

The runner-up team was Macquarie University represented by Fraser Lawrance and Aidan O'Callaghan!

Louisa Dimarco from University of Technology, Sydney bagged the award for the Best Negotiator!

Owen James and Emily Knoblanche from the University of Law, Sydney bagged the award for the Best Negotiation Plan!

And finally, Adekunye and Ayomide from University of Nairobi were judged as displaying the Best Spirit in the Competition!

3 days to go! The welcome packs are ready, and so are we!

The countdown begins! A few more days to the most happening days of September!

We hope that the participants are as excited as we are to host them at the beautiful NLU Delhi Campus!

The Student Coordinator for INC 2019 is Divyansh Joshi from the final year! Divyansh is someone who leaves an impact wherever he goes; both professionally and emotionally. While he is a great communicator and organizer, it's his kind heart and humble nature which sets him apart. Divyansh can make anyone feel comfortable in his presence! INC 2019 is his fourth-time experience in the HSF OC; something which speaks volumes of his talent and hard work!

Here's what his friend Priya had to say about him: "DJ is the social butterfly that we all know on campus. Being around him is in itself an experience.
Diligent, determined, disciplined and hardworking are a few qualities amongst so many others to describe him. He is one of the most approachable and amiable persons on campus! What makes him an asset for the HSF team is this combination of a charming personality along with his never-ending zeal to complete every task with utmost precision.
Apart from being a workaholic, you’ll see him in his sports gear or binge watching some TV series, especially Anime in his free time. He is a big-time foodie and anyone who is friends with DJ knows his unconditional love for Tunday Kebabs! Overall, this all-in-one package will definitely ensure great success for HSF-NLUD INC this year!"

Neeraj Nainani from the final year is in-charge of Scoring this time! Neeraj is calm and solution-oriented. When other spend their time overthinking their troubles, he spends his time thinking of practical solutions. Neeraj is one of the most approachable people on campus; loved and cheered by all, he sets an example for each one of us.

Here's what his friend Anany has to say about him:

"Five years spent, and yet we are at a loss of words when it comes to describing Neeraj. A peculiar breed, Neeraj reaffirms our faith in humanity and makes us believe that kindness is not a weakness, rather a gift to embrace.

He cares.

He shares.

He makes memes and scrambled eggs.

He moots and makes us peanut butter toast.

He binges shows like a crazy man
And he does work like a crazy man too.

With his undying affection for friends and an equally morbid sense of humour; he is our home grown Jake Peralta!
