9 countries had about 13,400 nuclear weapons

'स्टॉकहोम इंटरनैशनल पीस रिसर्च इंस्टिट्यूट' (सिप्री) की रिपोर्ट के अनुसार नौ देशों के पास लगभग 13,400 परमाणु हथियार थे जिनमें से 3,720 उनकी सेनाओं के पास तैनात थे. इनमें से लगभग 1800 हथियार हाईअलर्ट पर रहते हैं यानी उन्हें कम समय के भीतर दाग़ा जा सकता है.
