40th Annual Sports Day Celebration – 2026

Bal Vikas Public School celebrated its 40th Annual Sports Day with great enthusiasm and vibrant spirit on 28th February 2026. The event was a wonderful display of energy, discipline, and sportsmanship by the students. The celebration commenced with a ceremonial balloon release followed by a flag march, which set a proud and festive tone for the day.

Students presented a series of well-coordinated and vibrant performances including yoga and aerobics, showcasing their flexibility, balance, and dedication towards fitness. The audience was also thrilled by a spectacular Taekwondo demonstration, where students displayed self-defence techniques and strength through tile breaking, highlighting their confidence, focus, and martial arts training.

Various colorful and creative drills such as parachute, ball, and hooplah drills were performed by the students, reflecting excellent teamwork and synchronization. The programme also included exciting races and a spirited tug of war, which filled the atmosphere with cheers and enthusiasm.

The event was graced by Mr. Vineet Vohar, MCD Councillor of Ward 59, Paschim Vihar, who attended as the Guest of Honour. His encouraging words inspired the students to actively participate in sports and maintain a healthy lifestyle.

During the programme, the Head of School, Mr. Varun Goyal, presented the Annual Report, highlighting the school’s achievements and progress in academics, sports, and co-curricular activities over the past year. The report reflected the collective efforts of students, teachers, and parents in maintaining the institution’s tradition of excellence.

The celebration also included a prize distribution ceremony, where the winners were felicitated for their outstanding performances. Adding to the festive atmosphere were lively food stalls, enjoyed by students, parents, and staff members alike.

The day concluded with great excitement and joy, leaving everyone with cherished memories and reinforcing the importance of sports in the holistic development of students.
