KUALA LUMPUR: UCSI Univer­si­ty’s James Koo beat the odds when he became the first Malaysian to obtain the Associate of Cana­dian Institute of Actuaries (ACIA).

The third-year actuarial science student is also the first undergraduate from one of the top private universities to have passed the Society of Actuaries’ Fundamentals of Actuarial Practice (FAP).

We feel deeply grieved about the Pulwama attack. We express thoughts and prayers for the jawans martyred and condolences for the families. This horrific and cowardly attack on our jawans should be dealt with unforgiving urgency.
We pray for strength for the families who have lost the brave men in uniform who were keeping guard for our safebeing.
