As an additional ‘scam filter’, this unique UPI ID will be backed by a green triangle and a reassuring thumbs-up to let investors know that it’s a genuine recipient.

Two Intermediate first year girls aged 15 committed suicides by hanging themselves from fans in their hostel room at Narayana College in Kadapa on Monday evening. The incident led to violent protests by parents and relatives of at least 300 girls who study at the college, and furniture and other things were smashed and vandalized by them. Parents and students who gathered at the Rajiv GAndhi Institute of Medical Sciences where the post-mortem was conducted refused the take the bodies until an inquiry was ordered by the government. The spate of suicides at Narayana Group of Institutions, known for their tough exam preparation schedules and high standards, which runs over 400 colleges across country including the two states of AP and Telangana has raised tempers, with Opposition leader Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy of YSR Congress Party and student leaders launching a scathing attack and accusing the TDP Government of playing with the lives of young children.
