PURPOSE and SCOPE
The systems with small capacities especially in developing countries needs primarily simplified dedicated designs with added reliability under extreme environmental conditions with ease of long term maintenance and spares. Based on geographical, metrological and social conditions a comprehensive technology covering various segments like low sustainable energy cost, optimized distribution and feeder management with efficient load equipment, illumination, water, Photo synthesis based agriculture, horticulture, biomedicines, transportation and micro powered monitoring communication devices is a need. The aim of this special session is to explore the various applications of IOT in remote areas for sustainable development.

• Control and design of Standalone/Grid connected renewable energy based system
