Baby Steps Every Child is Special. She works with children with diagnosed disabilities and developmental delays using a family-therapy approach to underpin her work.

Baby Steps aims to equip parents with the tools to provide an environment suitable to their child's needs and aids children in learning adapted specifically for them. Rekha Raghavendra, founder of Baby Steps, is driven by her love for children and truly drives home the message that every child is special. She supports parents and care givers to work on identifying and catering to their child’s spe

cific needs - learning and otherwise. Rekha’s early intervention techniques allow children with a range of unmet learning needs to grow in an environment custom made for them. She is a New York State Board certified practitioner and special educator and her training includes:

• Gross and fine motor assessment
• Occupational therapy
• Early developmental communication
• Social/emotional attachment complexes
• Play and Family therapy

Why Baby Steps? We specialise in dealing with a range of neuro developmental disorders and learning disabilities such as Autism Spectrum Disorder, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Cerebral Palsy, Dyslexia, Selective Mutism, Down Syndrome, as well as early onset depression among adolescents. Rekha has successfully worked with these client groups and has received positive feedback for her work both internationally and in India.
