🚨 Nepal’s Gen Z Revolution 🚨

📱➡️🔥 A simple social media ban sparked a revolution that changed Nepal forever.

What happened? Government banned 26 platforms (Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, YouTube) → Gen Z took to the streets → 19 killed, PM toppled, first female interim PM installed.​

Why it matters: With 20.82% youth unemployment and corruption ranking 107th globally, Nepal’s digital generation proved that banning social media means banning livelihoods. Tourism dropped 30%, $3 trillion in damages, and India had to evacuate nationals as the crisis spread regionally.​

The lesson: In today’s world, digital rights = economic survival. When you silence Gen Z’s platforms, they’ll silence your government 📢

From peaceful hashtags to burning parliaments in just 5 days. Will Nepal’s youth-led revolution bring lasting change?
