A Heartwarming Experience for Our Junior Niketians! 🌸🇮🇳

Students of Shanti Gyan Niketan Junior Wing, along with Incharge Ms Bhakti Sharma, teachers Ms Ritu Malhotra and Ms Anila Kadyan, had the wonderful opportunity to meet *Shri Ashish Sood Ji, Hon’ble Cabinet Minister,* at his residence and office in Chanakyapuri to celebrate the beautiful bond of Raksha Bandhan and tie Rakhis to him.

Shri Ashish Ji was extremely warm, cordial and affectionate towards our young students. He interacted with them and spoke about the significance and importance of Rakhi. He also encouraged the children to dream big and asked them about what they wished to become in the future.

A very important message shared by him was the need to take care of our trees and protect our environment. 🌳

The meeting was truly successful, heartwarming and memorable. It was an experience of a lifetime for our students, who will cherish this special interaction for years to come.

We sincerely thank Shri Ashish Sood Ji for taking time out of his busy schedule and making our Junior Niketians feel so special. 🙏🌸

Thank you, Ashish Ji, for your warmth, valuable guidance and memorable interaction with our young learners!

♤38th Foundation Day & 80th Independence Day Celebration♤

Shanti Gyan Niketan Junior School celebrated its 38th Foundation Day and 80th Independence Day with great enthusiasm in the school lawn, keeping the spirit of मातृभूमि at the heart of the celebration.

The classrooms and soft boards were beautifully decorated with patriotic themes, and students enthusiastically participated in the Creative Writing and craft-making activities organised as part of the Foundation Day celebration.

Our little ones from Balvatika, KG and Classes I–II came dressed as भारत माता, Rani Lakshmibai, soldiers, freedom fighters and other national icons, bringing the spirit of patriotism to life.

The celebration began with the flag hoisting by Shri Ashwani Khurana (School Secretary), Mr Keshav Khurana (School Administrator), Mrs Anubha Triwedi (Middle Wing In-charge) and Mrs Bhakti Sharma (Junior Wing In-charge), followed by the National Anthem. Shri Surender Khurana (School Chairman) and Mrs Archana Choudhary (Senior Wing In-charge) also graced the occasion.

The Inter-House Dance Competition participants presented their patriotic performances once again for the entire Junior School. The Junior School Band, trained under Jagannath Sir, also gave an impressive performance. The little ones then followed the band in a colourful patriotic procession around the school lawn.

Mr Aakash Khurana (Vice Principal) later joined the Patriotic Tableau Procession along with the Junior School Band and the children portraying the freedom fighters and national icons of India.

It was a memorable day filled with patriotism, creativity and togetherness.
