There's always a little we all wish to do that goes beyond our daily chores and personal interests.
However, more often than not, these wishes are never culminated into actions.

Unequal opportunities often turn into unequal lifestyles which makes it next to impossible to breed a healthy society for inclusive growth.

Green Apple Learning Centre wishes to bridge this gap by providing equality education to the unfortunate sections of the society to create creative understanding and a reasoning mindset.
We aim to bring basic education to children by providing them with after school learning and manifest their growth.

Green world education and research is not-for-profit social start up enterprise with the key objective of improving the educational outcomes for the under-privileged children studying in the government schools. The organization has started its first Green Apple Learning Centre (GLC) at Shakurpur Goan. The centre runs remedial classes for government school students grade 4 and grade 5 but are not yet able to read or write. It is in the process of setting up similar learning centers at other locations.

About GLC...
These are children officially in grade 4 and 5 but who cannot read and write at all and have developed no number sense yet--i.e. Can not count even up to 50. We got list of these children from school principal and now arrange a special class of 90 min each. The school principal has allowed us to organize the class in school premises itself for the time being. This is the first batch of such classes organized in morning shift while they go to school in the evening shift. We got a list of 130 girls as well from school for which we will do the baseline assessment soon after contacting parents and organize the classes for them in evening shift. The tangible goal is that these children should be able to read and write when the school opens after summer break..
