ਅੱਜ ਦੇ ਦਿਨ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਅਰਜਨ ਦੇਵ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਜੀ ਨੇ ਬਾਬਾ ਬੁੱਢਾ ਜੀ ਦੇ ਸੀਸ ਤੇ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਆਦਿ ਗ੍ਰੰਥ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਜੀ ਦਾ ਪਾਵਨ ਸਰੂਪ ਸ਼ੁਸ਼ੋਭਿਤ ਕਰਵਾ ਕੇ ਆਪ ਚਵਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਦਰਬਾਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਵਿਖੇ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼ ਕਰਵਾਇਆ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਬਾਬਾ ਬੁੱਢਾ ਜੀ ਨੂੰ ਸੰਬੋਧਨ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਕਿਹਾ
ਬੁੱਢਾ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਖੋਲਹੁ ਗ੍ਰਿੰਥ ॥
ਲੇਹੁ ਆਵਾਜ਼ ਸੁਨਹਿ ਸਭਿ ਪੰਥ ॥
ਜਦੋਂ ਬਾਬਾ ਬੁੱਢਾ ਜੀ ਨੇ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼ ਕੀਤਾ ਤਾਂ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਹੁਕਮਨਾਮਾ ਜੋ ਸਿੱਖ ਪੰਥ ਚ ਆਇਆ ਸੀ
ਸੰਤਾ ਕੇ ਕਾਰਜਿ ਆਪਿ ਖਲੋਇਆ ਹਰਿ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਾਵਣਿ ਆਇਆ ਰਾਮ ॥
