SOME BASIC RULES

-ONLY THREE ENTRIES PER PARTICIAPNT WILL BE ENTERTAINED

-PHOTOS OF ANY RESOLUTION ARE VALID.

-IMAGES MUST BE ORIGINAL. NOT TAKEN FROM INTERNET OR ANY OTHER MEDIUM INCLUDING YOUR RELATIVES OR ANY OTHER PERSON EXCEPT YOU.

-THEY SHOULD BE RELATED TO THE THEME PRESCRIBED.

*Along the uploaded picture some Essential things to be specified while submitting your entries :
>A Caption with your pic to help the judges make a proper judgement
>Participant's Name
>Name of the college
>BRANCH
>Year
>Phone No. OR email ID
>Camera Model No.
>Resolution/Shutter speed/aperture/focal length (optional)

FAILING TO DO SO WILL RESULT IN A DISCARDED ENTRY

*PERMITTED MODIFICATIONS:

Images can be cropped and rotated as necessary as long as the rectangular format is maintained and the size is within the specifications above. Images may be resized as long as the aspect ratio is maintained
Red-eye removal and spot editing
One-step enhancement (such as "AutoFix", "QuickFix", "Auto Levels", etc.) Use of filters to sharpen, soften, blur, despeckle, or remove noise. Use of corrective functions to improve the natural appearance of the image, such as levels, contrast, brightness, curves, intensity, tone, hue, saturation, lightness, value, color balance, and tint.

* NOT PERMITTED:

No borders or frames may be added to images. No watermarks, signatures, or copyright notices may be added to images. All winning images will be displayed with the photographer's name. Artistic filters are not permitted.

*CRITERIA FOR JUDGING :

-Photos will be judged on the basis of 'Likes' and a panel of Expert Photographers. Proportion of judging will be as follows :
-40% judging will be on the basis of likes you receive for your photos and REST 60% will be selected through an unbiased judgement of Our Expert Judges, (and the appointed judge have no connection with competition hosting college).
-The judges decision will be the final, and nothing can be rectified on it. of 3 Photos can be submitted, so number of 'likes' will be the sum of likes which you receive for all your entries.
-Photos will be viewable to all, everyone can appreciate each others work. Hope to see the magic of ur third eye..

Hi everyone..
Sorry for making u wait for the results of the event.. the winners are decided and are judged firstly on the basis of abiding to the theme of the competition , then on the no. of likes they have on there pics; and finally on the judges verdict. the pics are judged by Mr. Sanjay Sud, working at Photo world, and finally we have the winners as ..

The first prize is awarded to BHAVOOK BHARDWAJ for his picture with caption .. "divided by colour, united by cause!"

The Second prize is awarded to SAGAR THUKRAL for his picture with caption " Divided by Nations, United by Profession... Photographers at their work.."

Everybody posting your entries.. do promote your picture among your friends. as the no. of likes on your pics is also an important criteria for your pic to be selected.. (it carries 40% weight-age) rest 60 % is the judges decision.. :)
