Its hard to believe that it's been a year since we lost you. So much has happened over the course of this year, so many of us have lost so much, it's mind numbing & soul shattering to say the least.

Your life was the quintessential bollywood dream- a middle class nerd who dared to listen to his heart & embraced the gift of art. Many of us are still struggling to follow their hearts & your journey has and will always be an inspiration.
You were really an artist to the core, with so much love for everything under the sun. A science buff, spiritual seeker, soulful dancer, you were so many lives in one body.

Your zest for life was & still is infectious. That charming disarming smile, and sparkling eyes, gave us your fans, or Godfathers as you called us, hope. Hope that dreams do come true if you dared to believe in them.
We will never know what pain you hid behind that smiling demeanor or what personal afflictions tormented you at nights. And no matter how much the tableoid culture compels us, we will not speculate. It's time we accept your abrupt departure gracefully, even though a part of us will always be in denial of the fact that you are never coming back.

Your life in our memories is safe & unspoilt, the reminder of a rich, versatile, deep & multidimensional mind that will never cease to amaze & inspire.

Wherever you are, we know you will always leave it better than you found it. Like a gardener who's so in love with the flowers he'll make others fall in love with them too.

In 'The fault in our stars' Hazel Grace says "Eulogies are for the living, not the dead." This piece is addressed to you but through you it speaks to millions of your fans to never stop dreaming & never run out of things to nerd about & fall in love with.
