Saurav facing burnout had joined in few weeks back to overcome & heal it.
We were having our Resilient Achievers Leadership call.
Today we went into depth of it.
With empathy & wisdom we asked a lot of in-depth questions, trying to figure out the cause.
Saurav had shared, that his company is exploitative.
That they give him a lot of work, and not enough time.
We were in the perception that he is giving 10-12 hours to work, and failing.
We believed he was burning out, because of over working.
Turns out, as we kept going deep, Saurav was giving less than 5 hours to his work.
It struck him.
He realised he wasn't dumb.
He wasn't being exploited.
It wasn't the company.
Rather it was the toxic beliefs about the world. :)
Over the many years & months he had been hearing that companies are exploitative.
This created the seed of impression that so was his.
With this belief he used to be always stressed and avoided work.
This made him feel even more miserable.
He isolated from his colleagues and felt even more alone.
But now when we talked more, he realised his manager is really good.
His manager always takes his responsibility and doesn't let seniors create pressure on him.
Saurav feels lighter and relaxed now.
He knows he is not giving the time.
And he can.
Earlier he was feeling like a victim. Now he knows he's in control.
If he begins to give the same time we thought he was giving, instead of getting fired he can get promoted.
Good things are expected to come.
Let's see what happens. π
Congratulations to the support and empathy of our club members who helped in bringing this breakthrough.
