Mother’s Blossoms, the alumni of The Mother’s International School, was registered as a Society on December 29, 2006. Though the alumni has functioned at an informal level for over 20 years, it was given a formal and legal shape as a new body only in December 2006, and thus the Mother’s Blossoms Society came into being. In addition, the Society aims to serve as an interactive platform for the alumni in all its endeavors to support social and educational causes. Over the past few years, the alumni have been working with MIS in activities like sponsoring and organizing the Talent Fiesta, Children’s Day and the Career Fair. Since 2007 the Mother’s Blossoms Society has widened its network and taken up projects with The Sri Aurobindo Ashram as well. We sponsored 24 under privileged children who now attend various schools run by the Sri Aurobindo Education Society in Orissa and across India. We also organize educational trips and camps for the teacher trainees at Nainital. The Alumni has a valuable databank, rich in human resources, of all the ex-students of MIS. The Society aims to make available this databank to all its members for networking on issues ranging from career counseling, career enhancement, job placements, etc.
