Just a fun way to hail tales, the word "ahoy" rings a sound synonymous with joy which children can relate to. Tales Ahoy!

is a team that conducts interactive workshops. The workshops are designed to tell multitudes of stories in interesting ways to rivet the attention of and educate children of different age groups. The stories are handpicked from a variety of sources and tailored to communicate ideas and concepts pertinent to the different age groups.

The Giving Tree by Shel Silverstein is a timeless classic. It's a poignant tale about giving. It becomes even more relevant when we read and discuss it in the context of Environmental ethics.

It gladdens my heart to share that the tale was very well received by the children. Their young age was not a deterrent. In fact, they were completely absorbed, listening to it and looking at the illustrations. They also actively participated in the group discussion and emphasis on the 3 Rs - Reduce, reuse and recycle.

The Story telling was followed by a crossword puzzle and drawing activity.

This session was in collaboration with Eureka! Bookstore

The fun we had while reading - The Grotlyn 🎈 by Benji Davies

It's so satisfying when you pick up a book that not many have read and the response is enthralling!

The children were both enthusiastic as well as curious to read this interesting work.

The central theme of cruelty to animals was deeply appreciated and absorbed by the children. The illustrations are crafted in a way to make the young readers alert as well as captivated by the story.

The story in the rhyming format is very appealing to the ears and adds to the flow of the story.

The story - telling was followed by a colouring activity and this was in collaboration with Eureka! Bookstore

Who is the Grotlyn? Is there a thief in the town or is it a rat scampering on the ground?
Is it a Maverick detective, up to no good or a ghost whistling in the woods?

Come and read The Grotlyn by Benji Davies with us on 27th May at Eureka! Bookstore
