Our chief guest for the day - DR. KULDEEP SINGH.
Dr. Kuldeep Singh is currently working as a scientist at advance carbon product and advance materials and devices decision of CSIR- NATIONAL PHYSICAL LABORATORY.
His areas of expertise include conducting polymers, energy storage devices ( lithium- ion battery, super capacitors and lead- acid battery), EMI shielding, metal oxide, synthesis of organic & inorganic hybrid nanomaterials by self assembly or template deposition, Graphene/CNT composites.
He is currently a lead member of electrochemical energy storage technology and process development research at CSIR. Dr. Kuldeep Singh developed first indigenous lithium-ion battery for multifarious application. He also developed first self powered flexible lithium ion battery for wearable electronics. In the project entitled "Innovative solution for solar energy storage, he developed and innovated new methodology for developing India's first indigenous lithium-ion battery of 2200mAh/3.7V for lightening the 1W and 3W solar lantern. He is skilled in fabrication and testing of all types of lithium-ion batteries and cells, lead acid battery and super capacitors.
Dr. Kuldeep Singh was honoured with CSIR senior research fellowship in april 2007. He also achieved CSIR Diamond jubilee research interns award in March 2005.
