Empowering students to shape their future with confidence! ✨

New Horizon School organised a Career Counselling Session for Classes XI & XII, offering valuable guidance on the diverse opportunities available in the Humanities, Science, and Commerce streams.

The session featured insightful talks by Ms. Shazia, who highlighted future career prospects and the skills needed in today's evolving world of work; Ms. Prerna Sareen, who introduced the wide range of opportunities in the Humanities stream; Ms. Monika (HOD Science), who shared career pathways in the Science stream; and Mr. Prem Raj (HOD Commerce & Humanities), who discussed higher education and career options in Commerce.

The session encouraged students to explore their interests, recognise their strengths, and make informed decisions about their academic and professional journeys.

🌳🧺 A Day Out at Sunder Nursery! 🌸
Our little learners enjoyed a wonderful picnic amid nature, filled with laughter, fresh air, and happy little feet exploring the greenery!
Outdoor picnics help children bond with friends, discover nature, and build confidence beyond the classroom. From sharing snacks to playing on the lawn, every moment became a joyful lesson in friendship and curiosity.
Watching our little ones marvel at the outdoors and giggle with their friends reminded us — some of the best lessons happen under the open sky! 💚✨

Our little learners explored the world of emotions through creativity and self-expression. Using simple shapes and colours, each child created an “Emotion Pop” to share how they were feeling today—happy, excited, thoughtful, or curious.
This activity encourages children to recognise and express their emotions, celebrate individuality, and build empathy towards others. Rooted in the vision of the National Education Policy (NEP 2020), it nurtures social-emotional learning, creativity, communication, and an inclusive classroom where every voice and every feeling matters. 🌟

Because in our classroom, every emotion is valued, every child is heard, and every smile tells a story.

🌈 Learning Through Movement! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️
our little learners had an exciting gross motor skills session filled with movement, laughter, and fun! Every jump, run, balance, crawl, and hop helps children grow stronger, more confident, and more independent.

Gross motor activities play a vital role in early childhood development. They strengthen large muscle groups, improve balance and coordination, enhance body control, and build stamina. These activities also encourage focus, listening skills, teamwork, confidence, and problem-solving while making learning enjoyable.

At the pre-primary level, children learn best through play. Every movement is a step toward better physical, social, and cognitive development. Watching them challenge themselves, cheer for one another, and complete each activity with bright smiles reminds us that learning truly happens beyond the classroom walls.

We’re proud of our little champions for giving their best and having so much fun while learning! 💙✨
