Celebration of The Heritage Crusade 2020: Daastaan-E-Dharohar held on 19th November was a momentous landmark in the calendar of DPS Mathura Road. It was the dawn of a new day with the mighty corners of Indian heritage being explored for the first time on a digital platform.
The Heritage Club made exemplary efforts to infuse awareness about our Rich Cultural Heritage of India through a myriad of activites, both offline and online which were meticulously designed for the Young Heritage Crusaders to unleash their tapped potential and hone the creative abilities.
The 6&7 the graders unraveled the Stories in Stone: Unearting the Nuances of Heritage, through pebble painting, Indian pottery: Spinning a Tale of Utility and India’s eternal love affair with puppetry.
The 8&9 graders explored the realm of Heritage Hands: Paper Mache and Power Poetry: Our Heritage Powerstones and the nuances of Lost Towns: Town of Glory were explored by young orators of 8&9 grade.
The students of Grade 11 had undertaken the enriching walkthrough the textile landscape of India through Fabric recreation and unraveled the varied corridors of Heritage through Virtual Extravaganza: Wanderlust Express.
And Lastly, for the Quizzers of DPS Mathura Road! Purnava: test your smart! enabled the critical thinking and reasoning skills of our 11th graders.
In a true sense, the digital world got a heritage touch! The Event gave an inside scoop to the glorious facets of Indian Heritage.
