The IIC cell of Guru Nanak Institute of Management successfully organized a presentation competition on “AI for Aatmanirbhar Bharat” as a MIC-driven activity for the pre-summit engagement for IIC.

The event provided a platform for students to showcase their knowledge and creativity on various aspects of Artificial Intelligence and its role in shaping India’s future.
Participants presented innovative ideas, insightful perspectives, and potential applications of AI in diverse fields, highlighting its significance in achieving self-reliance and sustainable development.
The competition was graced by Director Dr. Maninder Kaur, who motivated students to actively participate in such activities. She emphasized the importance of these initiatives in fostering holistic development, enhancing critical thinking, and nurturing problem-solving skills among students.
Dr.Maninder Kaur’s guidance and encouragement inspired the students to explore the vast potential of AI and its impact on the nation’s growth trajectory. The event concluded with a sense of accomplishment and a renewed commitment among the participants to leverage technology for the betterment of society.

✨ GNIM International Conference 2026 ✨

The IQAC Cell, Guru Nanak Institute of Management (GNIM) successfully organised a one-day International Conference on
“Artificial Intelligence as a Catalyst for Management & Technological Innovations towards Viksit Bharat 2047”
on 30 January 2026, in hybrid mode.
The conference explored the transformative role of AI in innovation, sustainability, and inclusive growth, aligned with the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047.
The event was honoured by the presence of Hon’ble Chairman Sardar Kashmir Singh, Hon’ble Manager Sardar Amrinderpal Singh Kukreja, Hon’ble Co-Chairperson Sardarni Ajit Kaur (Roxy Ji), and Director Prof. (Dr.) Maninder Kaur.
The programme began with Mool Mantar and lamp lighting, followed by the inaugural address by Prof. (Dr.) Maninder Kaur, highlighting AI’s role in future-ready management and technology.
🎤 Eminent keynote speakers from India, USA, UK, and Ireland shared global insights, including experts from TCS, Sheffield Hallam University, GGSIPU, Glen Dimplex Group, and Data Point Pvt. Ltd.
📚 60+ research papers were presented across 4 online technical tracks, with active student participation and faculty guidance.
The conference concluded with a valedictory session, reinforcing GNIM’s commitment to research, innovation, and nation-building.
