Aero India Air Show 2015 (Dangerous Stunts by Aircrafts in Bangalore)

Videolink : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hax2XywzRMQ

Aero India is a biennial event with flying demonstrations by stunt teams and militaries and commercial pavilions where aviation companies display their products and technology.

Some ridiculously awesome stunts were spotted at the biannual Aero India Show 2015 at the Air Force Station Yelahanka in Bangalore today.

Between the 18th to 22nd of February, 2015, Bangalore hosted Aero India 2015 - the 10th international show in aerospace, defence, civil aviation, airport infrastructure, and defence engineering.

The high decibel sound emanating from the fighter planes, the stunning aerial displays and the ballet of the moving aircrafts —all these have brightened up the Bangalore skies, as the 10th edition of Aero India has entered its fourth day at Air Force Station in Yelahanka.

Scheduled from February 18th to 22nd, Aero India, which includes the aircraft show and an exhibition, has everything to offer for aviation enthusiasts. Demonstrations and mind blowing stunts by civil and military aircrafts will send chills up your spine and make you stay hooked to the show.

You can witness stunts by India’s very own Light Combat Aircraft (LCA) Tejas and helicopter display team Sarang. Rafales of the French Air Force, Scandinavian Airshow’s Viking aircraft, the Flying Bulls team from Czech Republic, the famous Breitling Wingwalkers from AeroSuperBatics Ltd UK, Boeing B75, Falcon 2000 are among those teams and machines that have been displaying stunning aerobatics up there in the sky. As many as five aerobatic display teams are participating in the air show.

Despite the elevation in rank, however, AeroIndia will see only four types of fighter jets flying: Sukhoi 30 Mki that are the frontline combat aircraft of the Indian Air Force; the Light Combat Aircraft Tejas that is still going through trials after being first conceived 35 years ago; the Rafale, from French company Dassault Aviation, and an F-16D Falcon of the US Air Force.

The stunt-flying teams have brought in as many as 12 vintage aircraft, many of them souped-up bi-planes from the 1930s and the 1940s.

Aero India is mainly a business-to-business venue. India expects to source more than half of planned $100billion defence purchases over the next 10 years through Indian vendors. The Indian vendors will be encouraged to tie-up with foreign companies to set up manufacturing facilities that will generate jobs as well as top-notch military equipment.

The Yakolevs and the Flying Bulls performed some breathtaking stunts in the air, while the Catwalkers and the Wingwalkers saw some pretty ladies walking in the wings of the aircraft in flight, even as the airplane flew inverted!

The loud, tearing noise from the afterburners of the American Lockheed Martin F-16, Russian Sukhoi Su 30 MKI, French Dassault Rafale and the Indian Light Combat Aircraft (LCA) impressed the crowds. Breathtaking performances by the formidable looking, indigenously developed Light Combat Helicopter (LCH) wowed the patriotic.

Most of the military aircraft on static display were tankers, surveillance aircraft, or transport aircraft. An American Boeing F-15 was also on display.

A total of 72 aircraft were part of the air show. The main attraction of the event was the fly past and demonstration by HAL Tejas, HAL Light Combat Helicopter, Sarang display team and air display teams from Sweden, UK, Czech Republic and Open sky jump by US Special forces. A total of 11 foreign military aircraft on display, out of which a majority of them from the United States including two F-15C Eagles, two F-16C Fighting Falcons, one Boeing KC-135 tanker, one C-17 Globemaster III and a P-8A Poseidon maritime surveillance aircraft.

Breitling Wingwalkers team from AeroSuperBatics Ltd UK
The famous Breitling Wingwalkers team from AeroSuperBatics Ltd UK is featured in Aero India for the first time. The team of three women pilots—Nikita Saloman, Danielle Hughes and Freya Paterson, are strapped to Boeing Stearman biplanes. They perform acrobatics and ballet standing on the moving aircraft when it moves at a height of 1,100 feet, at a speed of 150 miles per hour.

The three women star performers say that they have no fear of performing atop the flying plane.

Exhibition open for All

The international exhibition of the aerospace, defence and civil aviation organised by the Ministry of Defence at the air show venue has been drawing a large number of aviation and business enthusiasts. Over 600 aviation related companies, including 295 Indian and 328 foreign have set up their stalls at the exhibition.
Apart from mega stalls by Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd (HAL) and Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), various other industries ranging from safety equipment manufacturers and radio-electronic solutions, to aircraft nut and bolt producers, have been offering first hand information about their products.

The US led the exhibition, with 64 participating companies, followed by France (58 companies), UK (48 companies), Russia (41), Israel (25) and Germany (17).

Experience on Simulators

Aviation enthusiasts can experience the feel of flying a fighter aircraft at the venue. The Aeronautical Development Agency (ADA) and the Defence Avionics and Research Establishment (DARE) under DRDO have installed three simulators of fighter aircrafts Tejas (LCA) and Sukhoi-30 at the exhibition venue.

The full-scale cockpit simulators are meant for use by professional pilots as well as the general public. Visitors can sit inside the cockpit of the LCA Mark-I and Mark-II simulators or the Sukhoi simulator and can operate the aircraft as per the instructions given by the instructor.

Easy Steps to fix leakage in Water Tank of Cooler (Hindi) (1080p HD) 22/06/2017

Easy Steps to fix leakage in Water Tank of Cooler

Videolink : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JiRyP85IqJ0

Evaporative swamp coolers are an energy efficient way to cool a house in dry climates.

Evaporative coolers spend their entire working lives soaked in water, so rust is the bane of their existence. In spite of the best efforts of manufacturers, most coolers eventually develop rust spots that can turn into small leaks. If the rust is allowed to continue unchecked, you could be looking at an expensive repair or even replacement. The best way to patch fix a rusty evaporative water cooler is to catch the problem early, before a pinprick grows into a gaping hole.

Steps for saving Water tank from Rusting

1) Disconnect the power to the evaporative cooler. Turn off the water supply and drain the pan. Remove the exterior panels and pads.

2) Attach a sprayer to a garden hose and clean out the cooler pan. Use a scrub brush on stubborn sediment and mineral deposits. Clean the exterior of the cooler as well, especially the underside of a window unit. Scrape away any loose rust with a paint scraper.

3) Rinse off the unit, then close the drain and fill the pan with water. Inspect the pan to determine the source of the leaks. Drain the pan and let the unit dry completely before proceeding.

4) Use a wire brush and emery cloth or sandpaper to clean the area around the leaks, until the metal is clean and bright. Clean both the inside and outside surfaces around the leaks if possible.

5) Put on protective gloves. Wipe the bright metal areas down with a clean cloth or rag saturated in acetone. Allow the acetone to evaporate.

6) Mix a portion of two-part epoxy on a piece of scrap cardboard using a disposable plastic applicator or putty knife. Mix only the amount of epoxy you can apply within the working time of the product, according to the package directions. Apply the epoxy to areas with a hole or holes the size of a toothpick or smaller. Use epoxy putty on holes up to the size of a pencil; larger holes require more extensive repair methods. Make each patch the approximate size and thickness of a quarter. Patch both sides of the leak in the pan, if possible. Allow the epoxy to fully cure before proceeding.

7) Apply a waterproofing sealer to the cooler pan with a disposable brush. Use the product as recommended by the manufacturer. Apply exterior grade enamel to any bare metal areas remaining on the outside of the cooler and panels. Allow the repairs to dry thoroughly before returning the cooler to service.

Epoxy / Putty (M-Seal in India)

Using a strong putty or putty with steel, you will mix 2 compounds, or some tubs are air activated. So open them take what you need and close it. You will mould the putty to the area you need. And you let it dry for the recommended period of time. These methods will bond and seal the two parts.

Note :

1) Some coolers are designed with replaceable pans. Check to see if one is available to fit your cooler if the rust is extensive.
2) For larger areas of rust in nonreplaceable pans, you may have to remove sections of the pan and replace with sheet metal, then coat with liquid rubber or other waterproofing sealer.
3) Take some sand paper and lightly scratch the surfaces so it scores it to give better grip to the adhesive.
4) Clean and blow out any dust residue, any particles from sanding and wipe it clean with alcohol /spirits before you start to apply any methods.
5) Make sure that during the cleaning and curing (drying period of at least 48hours) there is no water leaking in the affected area.

Consideration

1) The metal of cooler tank gets weaker and weaker at the bend until it finally breaks.
2) It usually fails at the weld joints and tube seams where the metal is weakest.
3) Even if the patch holds and keeps the original leak sealed, the next weakest point on the cooler will fail and it will start leaking again.
4) Fixing one leak does not fix any of the other areas that are already fatigued.
5) Surface to be treated should be clean and free from dirt, oil and other loose material.
6) Make sure the window/doors are open and there is adequate cross-ventilation in the room so that the moisturized air can circulate better.

What is Evaporative Cooling?

Honeywell Evaporative Air Coolers are built to maximize energy efficiency and keep energy costs low. Warm air is drawn into the cooler and enters the Honeycomb Cooling Media. Water pumped from the water tank pours over the Honeycomb Cooling Media. As the warm air passes through the Honeycomb Cooling Media, the water absorbs the heat, naturally cooling and humidifying the air. A fan propels the cooled air out into the room. This no-compressor system cools naturally, efficiently and inexpensively.

The recommended maximum relative humidity level is 60% or less, which allows a noticeable temperature decrease. The temperature will be lower in drier climates because higher evaporation occurs when the humidity is low.
