On this International Yoga Day, Team BCIHMCT extends warm greetings to all students, faculty, staff, and everyone in our extended family.
Yoga is more than exercise — it is balance for the mind, strength for the body, and calm for daily life. In the fast pace of studies, training, and hospitality work, taking a few minutes for breath, posture, and mindfulness can bring focus, discipline, and better health.
We encourage you to pause today, unroll your mat, and experience the power of “Asanas, Pranayama, and Dhyana”. Let yoga become a small habit with a big impact.
Stay healthy, stay balanced, stay inspired. Happy International Yoga Day!

On April 20, 2026, the Department of Communication and Soft Skills organized an impactful session titled "Overcoming Stage Fear." The workshop was led by presenters - Kanika Kashyap and Lokesh Rajput, under the professional guidance of Mr. Peeyush Srivastav, HOD of the Communication and Soft Skills Department, who served as the session coordinator.
This workshop aimed to equip students with actionable techniques to manage glossophobia and enhance professional delivery.
The session followed a structured approach, beginning with the psychology of performance anxiety and concluding with interactive confidence building exercises based on the CONFIDENCE acronym. Key segments included "Story time" for audience engagement and a focus on the Impression Zone to master the opening moments of a presentation.
Kanika Kashyap opened the session by breaking down the physiological roots of stage fright and explaining how to master a bold entrance and strong closing. Lokesh Rajput then led the practical segment, demonstrating the "Do’s and Don'ts" of stage presence, including the
effective use of meaningful gestures and maintaining eye contact to build audience rapport.
A mid-session address by Mr. Peeyush Srivastav, reinforced how the skills practiced in the workshop, such as eye contact and vocal tone, are the exact metrics used to evaluate professional competence in the corporate world. This guidance provided the students with a clear roadmap for how to integrate these soft skills into their long-term career development.
The event concluded with an inspiring special speech by our Principal - Mr. R.K. Bhandari. He began by commending the initiative taken by the student presenters, noting that peer to peer learning is often the most effective way to foster growth within the college community.
Beyond just praising the effort, our Principal emphasized that mastering public speaking is not merely an academic requirement but a vital leadership trait.
