Little Wonders SEN Team Little Wonders SEN Programme consists of the following:

Ms Parul Gupta, Therapeutic Head for this program.

This project will help the school, the therapy unit and you as parents, to work together as a team towards the development of our kids in a holistic manner & cater to the therapeutic needs if they have any. The unit would also cater for children who do not have a special need, yet have a few minor misses which makes their overall adjustment to class difficult, resulting in their learning being less than what they have the potential for. This Therapy unit will serve the following purpose:
• Special education: to cater preschool education prerequisites.

• Occupational Therapy Sessions: focussing on sensory integration, catering to “hyper” & “hypo” sensory needs and other sensory behavioural issues that a child may have; to help with appropriate gross motor functioning, fine motor functions, pre-writing areas and assist in ‘daily living skills’ such as dressing-undressing, eating etc.

• “Social-communication based play Sessions” with the ultimate focus on play as an essential tool for communication, social, sharing, participation & interaction development. Qualification: PGD, Child & Adolescent Psychology (London), M.Phil. (I), MA (Psychology, clinical)

Dr. Amrapali Lahiri, Head Consultant for Little Wonders SEN
Gold Medalist with extensive experience with children with special needs. Degree in Occupational Therapy from NIOH Kolkata University. Trained in Administering Brain Gym Techniques, HANDLE Approach. Worked with Prasanna Autism Centre, Pune, as Coordinator. Consultant with the British School, New Delhi, Tamana Special School, Sitaram Bhartiya Hospital, Orkids. Name of the Therapist : Namita Kilam

WE hereby are happy to announce the commencement of Therapeutic Intervention Program under SEN in collaboration with Little Wonders & Potentials Therapy Centre.
This is to inform you all that your participation & presence is cordially encouraged in the PTM & in the open forum of SEN Professionals. The more is your presence, the more will be the awareness.

The open day forum will not only help in clearing doubts regarding the kind of services SEN is supposed to provide but will also cater to any of your personal queries related with the kid.
As of now, SEN Team has already started noting down the class room observations of some of the kids in coordination with the class teacher & inputs given by them. Based on that observation, their individual assessment has also been taking place.
This forum is not only for parents with a differently abled child, BUT ALSO for any other parent who may have some doubts, queries regarding their child, as small as it might be.
We would appreciate your kind attention to this notice. Please help us in spreading awareness about Special Needs & Early Intervention Therapies. Let’s all pledge to work as a TEAM and be together in the journey of making lives of our kids easier and happier.
