PANIC ATTACKS- It's Nothing

Panic attacks are as common as the common cold. I wonder why they are not taken seriously. They are often overlooked as "ghabrahat"-restlessness due to heat. The problem is blamed on poor eating, faulty habits, heat, dust anything but is never taken seriously. The patient is often told to get out of it. It's nothing serious. You can not let silly things affect you. What is the reason for your anxiety? Not realising that it's a disease and needs to be cured. Like diabetes, this can also not be controlled without medicine and professionals help. Even the medical practitioners ignore symptoms of mental health, refuse to accept it as a disease. It is so nauseating seeing a doctor being so insensitive that one can not help but wonder if a doctor is so illetrate about mental health issues, what can we expect from common people?
So many people in the families are suffering from mental health issues. They are ignored till they lose contol of their senses are things are almost irreversible. Then I have seen people carrying their erstwhile beautiful children or spouses looking disheveled and in a pitiable condition.
Why this ignorance, insensitivity, indifference? No mental disturbance does not make our dear ones mad, our indifference does. HURRY BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE.

काश चुनाव पाँच साल से पहले आते
रुके हुए काम जल्दी निपट जाते
नेता जनता की खुशामद करते ज़रा पहले नज़र आते

पर हम तो जनता हैं आम हमें नखरे दिखाने नहीं आते
तमाशबीन सैटेलाईट वाले खेल जल्दी से दिखाते
और हम सब कुछ भूल फिर उनकी मीठी बातों में आ जाते

अबकी बार फिर हँसते खेलते मतदान केंद्र जाएंगे
अपने जीवन की बागडोर किसी के हाथों में थमायेंगे
फ़िर क्या पाँच साल रोते नज़र आएंगे?

नहीं इस बार हम तो NOTA पे मोहर् लगायेंगे
लेकिन हाथ मलते और पछताते नज़र नहीं आएंगे
