Manzil; a school without teachers

Manzil is a place where boundaries blur, where conventionally defined spaces and roles are challenged and the unifying emotion is Love. Love that nurtures young minds to think independently and to reclaim the joy of learning resources.

At Manzil, we believe that meaningful learning often begins with meaningful questions.

Chakmak is a highly regarded Hindi children's magazine that has been published continuously since 1985 by the Eklavya Foundation, an organization dedicated to nurturing education, curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking among children. Through thought-provoking questions, stories, activities, and opportunities for self-expression, Chakmak encourages young readers to engage with the world around them in thoughtful and imaginative ways. This resonates deeply with Manzil’s belief that education is not just about finding answers, but about developing the confidence to question, reflect, and think independently.

This time, Chakmak invited children to reflect on a question that felt both challenging and deeply relevant: "Some people believe that war becomes necessary in certain situations, while others feel that war is never right. What do you think? When, if ever, can war be justified, and when should it not be? Why?"

What made the process truly special was not finding a "correct" answer, but creating a space where every child felt encouraged to think independently and express what they genuinely believed. There was something deeply heartening about watching them wrestle with big questions, listen to their own voices, and discover that their thoughts matter.

These moments remind us that learning is not only about gaining knowledge—it is also about growing into thoughtful, compassionate individuals who can engage with the world around them with curiosity, sensitivity, and care.

Our recent movie gathering brought students together for an afternoon of shared experiences, reflection, and connection. As students watched, discussed, and reflected on the film, they explored new ideas, expressed their thoughts, and learned from one another's perspectives.

What began as a break from the regular English classroom soon became a space for meaningful conversations, new friendships, and deeper learning. Through storytelling and reflection, students strengthened their listening, comprehension, critical thinking, and English communication skills while feeling more connected to one another and the Manzil community.

Because learning is not only about lessons—it is also about the stories that inspire us, the conversations that help us grow, and the connections we build along the way.

At Manzil, we believe that true growth happens when girls feel safe to express themselves, share their thoughts openly, explore their interests, and simply be who they are without hesitation. Sakhi Saheli creates that space — a space filled with conversations, creativity, laughter, learning, and support.

Through shared experiences, meaningful discussions, dance, storytelling, and different activities, girls slowly build confidence, stronger connections, and a sense of belonging. It becomes a place where they feel seen, heard, valued, and connected.

A small space carrying courage, care, dreams, and endless possibilities.

Every Sunday at Manzil, the guitar class becomes more than just a music session.

It becomes a space where students learn with comfort, express themselves freely, and slowly build confidence through every chord and every song.

Many learners shared that they chose Manzil because the environment feels warm, welcoming, and free from judgment. The teachers teach with patience, care, and encouragement — making music feel accessible to everyone, no matter where they begin.

What starts as learning guitar often turns into something deeper: a journey of growth, connection, and self-expression.

Some journeys don’t begin with confidence.
They begin with hesitation, silence, and the fear of being seen.

Back in 9th class, Sushant was someone who found it difficult to speak on stage or express himself openly. But nearly five years ago, when he joined theatre at, things slowly started changing. Through performances, music, dance, travelling, mentoring younger students, and countless shared experiences, he discovered confidence, leadership, and a stronger connection with himself.

Today, while pursuing BCA, Sushant continues balancing academics with creativity and community work. From becoming Head Boy and participating in national-level mono acting competitions to contributing as a team member at Manzil, his journey reflects how growth often begins the moment we step outside our comfort zones.

His story is a reminder that transformation does not happen all at once — it grows quietly through consistent effort, meaningful spaces, and people who help us believe in ourselves a little more every day.

Some journeys don’t begin with confidence.
They begin with questions.

Muskan grew up in a world where dreams often had limits, especially for girls. In a home where responsibilities came early and opportunities felt distant, she carried quiet doubts about her future — What can I become? Which path is truly mine?

When she joined Hello Zindagi, she came with potential in her heart, but uncertainty in her voice. Slowly, through conversations, learning spaces, self-reflection, and support, Muskan began discovering herself beyond society’s expectations. She started recognizing her strengths, trusting her abilities, and believing that her dreams deserved space too. ✨

Today, the same girl who once questioned her future now looks ahead with clarity, courage, and hope. Her journey reminds us how powerful the right environment can be — a space where young people feel seen, heard, and encouraged to grow into who they truly are.

For Muskan, Hello Zindagi was never just a program.
It became a safe space for self-discovery, confidence, and building a future she can proudly call her own.
