On December 27th, Manzil hosted an online session under the guidance of our core team member, Tulsi Kohli, featuring the esteemed guest speaker, Murari Jha, a dedicated government teacher and mentor.

The session was a treasure trove of insights, as Murari Jha shared his expertise on how to become a successful and impactful educator. His practical advice and thoughtful guidance provided much-needed clarity for participants aspiring to pursue a teaching career.

Fifteen students joined the session, which encouraged lively discussions, with many questions about the teaching profession being addressed. The interactive nature of the session created a vibrant and engaging atmosphere.

The feedback we received was overwhelmingly positive, with participants expressing a strong desire for more such enriching sessions in the future. 🌱

Celebrating Cultural Connections

We’re delighted to share that Sushma Rana, a core team member, proudly represented Manzil at the Russian Centre of Science and Culture. 🌟 This marked a significant milestone for Sushma as she showcased Manzil’s impactful work in Learning, Livelihood, and Leadership to an external audience for the very first time.

During her presentation, Sushma highlighted:

Through a powerful video, Sushma beautifully narrated Manzil’s journey from its ECCE Play School beginnings by founder Mrs. Indira Gulati to its impactful work today.

This experience wasn’t just about representation—it was about personal and professional growth. Sushma honed her presentation skills, learned to engage with diverse audiences, and built meaningful connections. By sharing her personal journey at Manzil, she created a strong emotional bond with the audience, inspiring conversations about her growth and Manzil’s transformative mission.

We recently held an informative session of the Hello Zindagi Program, in the Learning by Local (Starting by Manzil Alumni), where the Emerge fellows (Employability Program for Women) explored the world of Artificial Intelligence! 🤖✨ The Program helps students who have completed 12th grade prepare for jobs by teaching them important soft and technical skills like communication, presentation, interview preparation and Email writing etc. 🎓💼 This helps them achieve their career goals and become independent.

MD Sharik, a Graphic designer and alumni teacher of Manzil, led the session on A.I., enhancing knowledge and practical abilities by covering the definition of artificial intelligence (AI), its impact on our daily lives, various forms of AI with their advantages and disadvantages, and crucial tips to improve SEO for a stronger online presence.💡🌐

We also discussed how AI can be integrated into various fields, showcasing its potential to transform industries and improve our everyday lives. 🌍✨ A deep dive into ChatGPT allowed participants to learn about its different versions and powerful abilities. The hands-on exercises helped students create their emails and resumes using ChatGPT, making their communication more personal! 📝💪

It’s inspiring to see young Manzillions to connect with the importance of rivers through the "River & I" workshop! 💧 Through interactive sessions, students explored their connection with rivers by learning about the origins of India’s major rivers, discovering captivating mythological stories, and understanding their social and cultural roles. 🌊

From mapping rivers with art to expressing their memories and thoughts on rivers, these young participants gained insights into river conservation and responsible stewardship. Activities like a river-themed quiz, art and craft sessions, and sharing stories helped deepen their appreciation for these vital waterways. Each student also received a DIY Art and Craft Kit to continue their exploration at home.

Through these experiential visits, we are nurturing a generation that values sustainability and is ready to become dedicated caretakers of our environment.

Recently, Manzil held a Sikho Sikhao workshop where students from our English, Computers, and Arts classes came together to explore their creativity in a unique, art-focused activity. Bhavna, one of our English students, led the session, guiding everyone to create personal, expressive works using only black sheets and newspaper. Through this simple yet powerful medium, Manzillions transformed blank pages into original pieces, sharing their ideas and learning from each other along the way.

The workshop created a vibrant, hands-on space where students could connect, collaborate, and support each other's artistic journeys. It was a beautiful reminder of how creativity thrives in an environment of shared exploration and mutual growth. 🌟

Sikho Sikhao embodies the spirit of Manzil by encouraging students to take initiative, share their skills and experiences, and build the motivation to discover new ideas. It reinforces our core value of nurturing students as both learners and teachers.

🌟 Nurturing Innovation Through Curiosity, Peer Learning and Tech 🌟 In our Basic Computer Class, students are diving into the essentials of computer hardware. Recently, they explored components like the motherboard, RAM, and SMPS, even learning how to assemble a CPU from scratch! This hands-on experience not only builds technical skills but also encourages teamwork and problem-solving. Young teachers like Anjali are the pillars that make Manzil’s learning spaces so engaging, guiding students through interactive activities that bring knowledge to life. Anjali, who teaches the computer classes, joined Manzil as a computer student just a year ago and is now in her second year of B.Com. With a strong foundation and a passion for teaching, she began instructing computer classes six months ago. Her journey from student to teacher shows the power of learning and giving back to the community. We’re proud to have her inspiring students with the same curiosity and dedication that brought her to Manzil. 🌱💻

We recently opened applications for the 7th batch of Anubhavshala, and approximately 64 candidates expressed interest. 10 passinate candidate were selected for the next phase, which included a tech test assessing their proficiency in essential skills like MS Office, Google tools, and Canva.

The Anubhavshala program is designed to provide young people with hands-on, practical learning experiences, enhancing their skills and preparing them for the professional world. At Manzil, we are committed to fostering growth by equipping participants with the tools they need to thrive, while building professionalism and workplace etiquette.
