Making one person in every family digitally literate.

Pradhan Mantri Gramin Digital Saksharta Abhiyaan is the scheme to make six crore persons in rural areas, across States/UTs, digitally literate, reaching to around 40% of rural households by covering one member from every eligible household by 31st March, 2019.

Meet beneficiary, Veerendra Singh from Chitrakoot District, Uttar Pradesh. He couldn’t find a job due to his less education. One day he got to know about the PMGDISHA scheme through VLE Hemendra Pratap Singh, and he registered him under the PMGDISHA scheme. Now he is successfully trained and certified.

With good knowledge of digital devices, uses of the internet, uses of digital transactions online citizen services, etc., he is currently working at in TALENT UP COMPANY which was established in NOIDA, Uttar Pradesh in the Department of REF R&D.
