Capella, The Choreography Society Of NSUT CAPELLA- The Choreography Society of NSUT, focusses on thematic dance i.e. dance with drama! Focussing on thematic dance i.e.

dance with drama, dance in CAPELLA- The Choreography Society of NSIT is about articulation of emotions, sending across a message, while transmuting all that we feel into our performances. Started in 1998, it is one of the oldest societies of Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology and has been involved in theme based productions year after year. One of our performance was inspired from an American Drama film ‘ The Stoning of Soraya M’ a true story based on the unjustified stoning of women in the Middle East when they are caught in an act of adultery. We also performed on the theme 'Breaking the silence', 'Othello' and various others. Our calendar event Mudra, is a main event of Moksha, the annual cultural fest of the college and sees participation from all over Delhi and NCR. The society has produced and encouraged a lot of dancers, and even won the second prize in Rendezvous 2013(IIT Delhi's fest), first prize in DDUC's fest in 2016 and various others. The society provides all its members with a great platform for expression and for discovery of the inner Nataraja and thrives on passion and energy, achieving milestones after milestones, scaling the mountains (well, metaphorically anyway) and set their hopes on the sky.

KALAKRITI unfolds once again at Moksha, not merely as a competition but as a confluence of cultures, where every rhythm resurrects a story and every movement becomes a memory reborn.

Here, ghungroos do not just chime, they whisper legacies.
Footsteps do not just follow beats, they carve narratives across time.
And the stage does not just witness performances, it transforms into a living tapestry of tradition, woven with passion, precision, and pride.
