there has been alot of talk about what is the exact intention of the new management. alot of things are happening in the school which are been done on the name of development by the new management. some feel its nothing but a bundle of lies whereas there are few who believe that there can be a bigger better picture to it. well time will tell the outcome of current debate, but one thing is clear that the outcome will be entirely different than our memories of sawan..

Dear All,
Today a meeting was held with the school management to discuss varied matters. The meeting was attended by Mr. Yuvraj, Mrs. Gurbuxani and others from the management. SOBA members KKG (SOBA President), Mohit Malhotra (Gen Secretary), Hari Dutt Sharma, Mukesh Gupta, Arpan Sharma , Jai Kumar Agarwal, Sumit Jindal, Saurav and Kunal Munshi.
The following was learnt:
1. There are no plans to close down the school.
2. Instead the management has ambitious plans for the school, including plans for infrastructure enhancement, replacing existing buildings with new ones, air β conditioning them as well as adding a sports academy. Please see attachment for details of plans that were shared with us in this meeting.
3. The process of improving the infrastructure shall start after the final exams this year and shall be completed in the shortest possible time. Blue print and all layout plans for the purpose are already in place and shall shortly be submitted to the sanctioning governing authorities.
4. Major initiatives taken in the school since the current management took over were shared with us. This includes : a teacher training programme, renovation of gym and common room and others. Details about this are attached.
5. New faculty members are being recruited.
6. Humanities as a third stream, along with commerce and science shall be introduced from next academic year.
7. Admissions of new students are on the basis of quality and not on quantity. The management is not chasing numbers at the cost of quality.
8. The recent episode about the parking of buses in the school premises was done as a one-time activity due to an urgency faced by the Satsang. The wall has subsequently been repaired.
9. Going forward, the school management will pro actively share information with SOBA for it to share onwards with its members. This is expected to help the flow of information and reduce any misconception/misinformation.
Based on the above points as well as our consistent contact with the school over the last year, SOBA believes the school is on the road to improvement. We recognize that there is a major overhaul in progress and process of change has hurdles.
SOBA will continue to support all initiatives from all concerned that are in the long term interest of the school.
