If today Shanti Gyan Niketan can boast of its predominant position as one of the premier institutions in Delhi , it is because of the management, the teachers and the students and the non-teaching staff that have untiringly worked towards it. Building an institution is like nurturing plants and trees; a lot of care goes in it. They will dry up and eventually die if left untended. The same applies to centers of learning. It takes years for a school to reach to a certain level of reputation and respectability. The level has to be constantly maintained for qualities never an accident; it is the result of perseverance and hard work.
